Partner Spotlight: The Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund

We are thrilled to announce a partnership with the Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF), which is committed to helping Farmers navigate the unique legal challenges of the industry — as laws, regulations, and legislation constantly change and vary across state lines.
Understanding the legal nuances of farming can be challenging. That’s why the FTCLDF aims to help protect Farmers, educate them on their rights, and assist with legal representation and policy work, bringing expertise to ensure Farm businesses are compliant.
Advising on state requirements, regulatory obligations, and providing day-to-day member services (including but not limited to poultry processing, slaughtering regulations, raw milk sales, and zoning disputes, etc.). They also provide a 24/7 emergency member services hotline, knowing that unexpected inspectors can appear on Farms at any given time.
Farm Legal Series on the Direct Farm Podcast
We recently launched a new series on the Direct Farm Podcast, titled the Farm Legal Series, in partnership with FTCLDF. We discuss resources and practices Farmers can use to navigate legal challenges for their products. You can check out the first few episodes here:
